TRIP NOTES
One plane, went down a day early on Thursday  to stay on the Cadeje side. The other planes came down on Friday to stay on the Mulege side. The weather for the trip was generally good, with a little coastal fog on the return trip to  Santa Barbara.

   CLINIC NOTES
Both the dental and the medical clinics were slower than normal due to a fiesta in San Ysidro , a town close to La Purisima. Never the less there were many new patients that were seen by Eric McFarland and Myra Howard, with the help of Monica Jensen and Sophie Tucker translating. Margo Kenney and Julie McConell did triage while Chris Huntsman did the lab work. Patsi Hodges and Bobby Bliss ran the pharmacy with their usual efficiency.

EYE CLINIC
Gerry Groff joined us for an eye clinic that is always appreciated and well attended. Gerry was assisted by Christine Dunstan and saw 16 patients. Most  were fitted with glasses  thanks to donations from the Lions Club and Rotary clubs.

DENTAL CLINIC
The  Dental Clinic had less than the usual number of patients.  We had Kevin Miller filling teeth and extractions, Mike Thurman (newcomer) kept busy with several fillings and a few extractions also.  John Grube did many extractions.  Melodi Willis was cleaning teeth.  The dentists were assisted by Malissa Harrison, Meghan Bender (newcomer) and Larry Cochran.  Triage was performed by Angela Van Den Brulle and Jon McConnel did another great job in sterlization.  Clinic ran smoothly and all patients were seen.  Thanks to you all for a great job!

The PRE-TRIP BARBEQUE and season kick-off will be Sept ??th, starting at 1 PM, at the ranch of Robin and Nancy… More info will follow.
