Four planes from Santa Barbara and one plane from San Diego flew down on Friday. Two stayed on the Mulege side and three went to the Cadeje side. The weather was good in both directions, with the exception of a little morning fog.
On the medical side, Drs. Debbie Weinstein and Erine Erickson saw patients. Shirley McCulloch NP and Brandon Franks took vitals and Melissa Ellis translated as needed. Susan Grube coordinated triage. NP Myra Cochran ran the pharmacy, with help from Jason Hannon. Felicity Hoffman saw chiropractic patients.
The dental clinic saw 34 patients, many for multiple procedures. Three dentists made for a comfortable, steady pace. Dr. Paul Perez was busy with fillings and some extractions, while Dr. Grube did mostly extractions, and Dr. Mac, assisted by Roni, did mostly root canals. Karyn Yule ran the sterilization and Larry Cochran assisted two dentists. Eustaquio coordinated triage. It was a small but efficient team.
