TRIP NOTES
Three planes came down on Friday morning, in generally great weather. On Saturday the Mulege planes of Terry Rahe  and Patrick Corrigan joined up to make a total of five planes for the clinic.

MEDICAL CLINIC
Dr. Soto saw many grateful patients.  Chris Huntsman assisted with vitals and labs while Blaise Vanden Brulle coordinated triage.  Patsi Hodges, with helper Claudia Riveroll, was in charge of the pharmacy.

AUDIOLOGY
People waited for the opportunity to be serviced by audiologist Bonnie Rettgers. and they were not disappointed.  She saw 20 patients, with Susan Grube translating, from the ages of 8 – 93.  Some were new and some were returning for a tune-up.  What a joy to see their smiling faces after their visits with Bonnie.  She worked tirelessly from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm…. Thanks, Bonnie.

DENTAL CLINIC  
The dental clinic had two dentists and a hygienist. Drs. Le and Grube did fillings and extractions, assisted by Larry Cochran and Miriam Beacham.  Susan Walker efficiently cleaned teeth. Karyn Yule and Louis Beacham ran the sterilization and Patty Alegria kept things running smoothly with her triage and translations. Dental saw a total of 32 patients, 10 of which were cleanings.

NOTATIONS
We picked up Bonnie in Long Beach on Friday morning . On leaving Santa Barbara our landing gear  did not retract. While very safe, we wanted to fix it before flying south. Toms Aviation in Long Beach was amazingly helpful in getting a diagnosis and repair finished in time for us to get down to Cadeje before dark. Thanks to all at Toms!

We turned final to land just as the sun started to touch the horizon. The desert colors and shadows were incredible and we considered ourselves fortunate to have been able to see it . ---JWG
